What is a Personal Concierge?

Traditionally the concierge industry was restricted to hotels and resorts to accommodate people away from home who did not have the time or inclination to interrupt their business trip or vacation to attend to personal tasks. Similarly personal assistants were once the domain of the rich and famous and took care of all the details of their employer’s life. However, in the last several years with the advent of the 24/7 workplace, the increasing hectic pace of modern life, and peoples need to balance work and leisure all of those services have merged into one function called the Personal Concierge. The goal of the personal concierge is to assist people to strike a healthy work/life/leisure balance.

Can I request anything?

Yes, as long as it is legal and ethical. Concierge By Request will fulfill all of your requests or will find you a source that can.

Why should I pay someone to do what I can do myself?

Two simple words – Save Time! No doubt you can take care of your own errands, or your repairs or that romantic dinner for two but all are time consuming. We offer you the ability to “take back your time.”

 

Can I afford a Personal Concierge?

That's something you have to decide. However, our À la Carte rate is definitely competitive and with our three different pre-paid packages we believe we offer the most reasonable rates in the industry. Our intention is to make personal concierge service affordable for all.

How easy is it to request service?

As easy as 1,2,3. You can complete a request for service form on line and submit electronically or print it and fax it to us at 416 922-6763 or call us at 416 922-1423 or toll free at 1-888 922-1423 or email us at info@conciergebyrequest.com We will acknowledge your request within the hour, sometimes we will even have completed it by then, and we will keep you updated on progress where appropriate.

Will my request be responded to promptly?

Within the hour during our regular business hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM seven days a week. Requests outside of business hours will be responded to no later than 8:00 AM the following day.

Why should I choose Concierge by request?

Am I assigned the same concierge at all times?

Since different tasks require different levels of expertise you might not always have the same concierge assigned.

What about my personal information?

Concierge By request adheres to a very strict privacy policy. Your personal information is kept confidential and we do not sell or share our membership list. At times we may need to make an exception and share personal information with a vetted third party vendor contracted to provide services to you. We will clear each exception with you.

What if I want something not listed on your list of services?

Our list of services is always expanding so as long as it is legal and ethical we will be pleased to handle your request.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry liability insurance and would be happy to share our policy with you at your request.
