Community Involvement
Bonjour,
In the past ten years huge strides have been made in the fight against women’s cancers and we are inching closer and closer to finding a way to eradicate these dreadful diseases. Until we do, I will keep on walking. So once again, come next September 7th and 8th, I will be there with all the Butterfly of Hope walkers when they open the route and invite us to start our journey.
For the past ten years I have been part of an amazing community of women and men walking to end all women’s cancers. Some are survivors while others are just like me, trying to make a difference one step at a time. I have been blessed by all who have supported my journey with their encouragement and generosity. Now, after ten years, I wish I could say that’s it, I’m done, but I can’t. I committed to myself to walk for as long as I could or until a cure is found and I intend to honor that commitment. So I will keep on walking and I still need your support, it is not possible to do this without you.
I ask you to embrace my journey one more time and I will keep on walking not just for our mothers, our sisters, our daughters and our friends but also for the many men afflicted by breast cancer.
Thank you,
